This might just work - SKYFONTS
A new (Beta) Font site where you can try out fully functional fonts for 5 minutes and then rent them for a day, month or whatever.
Im giving it a go, looks useful for trying out fonts, designing logotypes etc… you need to download an app which manage the fonts use on your system.

Join PUSH ME at Encounters Short Film Festival at the Watershed
Director John Durrant and artist Sue Austin (pictured above) discuss PUSH ME for 90 Seconds and The Space at the Encounters Short Film Festival. Thursday 20th Sept 5pm.
PUSH ME is a Watershed produced collaboration which follows the journey of 12 artists working as part of Unlimited, the Cultural Olympiad programme focusing on disability. The twelve 90-second short films in this programme were commissioned for The Space, a new digital channel run by Arts Council England in partnership with the BBC.
The ethos of PUSH ME is to challenge the artists to really push themselves beyond their personal bests, and explore the impact their work has on others.
The Space has been designed to give arts and culture organisations the opportunity to experiment and engage with new and existing audiences in a completely innovative digital environment: thespace.org

Fast Type
“IQ "font"":http://idsgn.org/posts/designing-type-with-cars/
The process is probably more impressive than the final product… however the style seems to have been steered by the designers more than the driver or the car… and then the designers don’t know the difference between a typeface and a font… but apart from that, I like it.
I think. No hang on maybe I don’t.
You might, though.Posted by 28.08.12 • View Comments

Extraordinary Art in 90 seconds
The UK Arts Council launch PUSH ME for 90 Seconds.
“An underwater wheelchair, orchestrated sirens, a comedian and a journey to the Bambanani Group in South Africa are amongst the Cultural Olympiad projects which feature in 90 second films as part of a new online cultural destination.
Today, Tuesday 9 July, the first four PUSH ME films are released into The Space, a collaboration between Arts Council England and the BBC to provide a new way to view arts and culture online.
Each film is packed into just 90 seconds and shows how the artists are pushing themselves, while their work inspires others to push their own boundaries.”Posted by BDH 10.07.12 • View Comments

BDH + The Watershed + InSync for the Cultural Olympiad
BDH are working on a set of films with the Watershed and Jo Verent of InSync, for the 2012 Cultural Olympiad. The project name is yet to be confirmed!
Above is an introduction by Alan, Davey, Alan Yentob and Peter Maniura to The Space.
On 14 November 2011 Arts Council England and the BBC announced a partnership to create The Space. an experimental digital arts media service and commissioning programme that could help to transform the way people connect with, and experience, arts and culture.
Launching in May and running until the end of October 2012, this pop up service will challenge artists, arts and cultural organisations to collaborate with each other and with partners to capture and create a wealth of cultural experiences, drawing on the richness of the summer of arts of the Olympic year.
Arts Council England is investing £2.5 million of its strategic digital innovation funds in commissioning grants for artists, arts and cultural organisations to create work to be shown in The Space. The BBC will contribute significant support, providing the technology solution that will enable the arts, for the first time, to sit seamlessly together across the four key platforms of the digital media age: PC, mobile, tablet and connected TV. In addition the BBC will mentor successful applicants — particularly smaller organisations — through the creative process, with training and guidance where appropriate.
The Space will showcase work led and created by the arts and cultural sector, presenting that work in new, surprising and connected ways. The Space aims to re-imagine how arts, culture and media can collaborate and explore ways to make new experiences for audiences in the UK.Posted by BDH 22.02.12 • View Comments

You’ve got to hand it to the ‘Big Hitters’ – Wonders of the Universe and Frozen Planet. Both projects are the fine examples of intelligent, well-crafted, big impact TV. They definitely deserve all the awards and recognition.
