BDH

Regency-title-sd_large

Opening titles and graphics for a series marking the 200th anniversary of one of the most explosive and creative decades in British history – the Regency.

BDH cleverly treated many of the paintings with a ‘magnifying lens effect’, capturing the magnificent detail in HD. Referencing the aesthetic of the period, the title evoked decadence, celebration and bloodshed

In the first programme ‘Warts & All’, Historian Dr Lucy Worsley looks at how the Prince Regent was obsessed with outdoing Napoleon not on the battlefield, but in opulence, bling and monumental architecture.
